i like listening to music with my dad. he’s just the hippest 59 year old man and we always share new music with each other.

I like listening to music with my husband in our 378 square foot home. We have spontaneous dance parties.

Some 20 years ago, I used to listen to music with my best pal Nikos. We were students aka broke and we each bought a record / month. We then had listening parties in his place or mine, depending on who had bought the record. God I miss those times..

Ever since I met my best friend/now boyfriend 10 years ago I have loved listening to music with him everywhere but especially in the backseat of the car. That was the first place we listened to music together, parked at night in front of my apartment in LA, music turned up loud, bass in the trunk. There is something about the music and the car that makes you feel like you’re in your own private world, sharing a secret together.
