Xiu Xiu Share Strange Video for “It Comes Out as a Joke”

Xiu Xiu released a new album, Girl with Basket of Fruit, back in February via Polyvinyl. Now they have shared a video for the album’s “It Comes Out as a Joke.” It’s the third and final video in a trio from the album. The band’s own Angela Seo directed the video alongside Anna Lian Tes. It features Seo and the band’s founder Jamie Stewart, as well as performance artists Ron Athey and Elliot Reed, as did the other two videos from the album: “Scisssssssors” and “Pumpkin Attack on Mommy and Daddy.” Watch it below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
The album is the follow-up to 2017’s FORGET.
