Yeah Yeah Yeahs
If you’re making the trek over to this year’s Lollapalooza, you won’t have to wonder anymore what co-headliner wll fill your ears with wonderful sounds on Saturday night. As we reported yesterday, The Beastie Boys were scheduled to be apart of the Chicago fest’s heavy-hitting August 8th lineup, but Adam Yauch’s cancerous throat gland tumor forced the group to cancel all their festival engagements and postpone their new LP. Fortunately, the sure-footed Lolla promoters didn’t pull hairs over deciding a suitable stand-in: festival-circuit veterans Yeah Yeah Yeahs! The rock trio wil be sharing their stage with TV on the Radio, Arctic Monkeys, and Los Campesinos!. The YYYs are on the road the entire summer, in support of It’s Blitz!, their excellent new album.
