Yeah Yeah Yeahs have announced that they will release their fourth studio album this coming spring. The follow-up to 2009’s It’s Blitz the new record was confirmed by the band via Twitter this morning. Along with the available image to the left the group wrote “DNA upgrades, spontaneous evolution and NEW YEAH YEAH YEAHS RECORD ARRIVING SPRING 2013! finally.”
More details of the record will likely become available in the coming weeks ahead.

“It’s Blitz!” was released in 2009, not 2010.
