Yes Virginia, There (Might) be a New Bright Eyes Album
Conor Oberst to Record as Bright Eyes After Monsters of Folk Tour
Oct 01, 2009
Conor Oberst
Conor Oberst, solo artist and member of Monsters of Folk, might be returning to the Bright Eyes moniker. As reported by Spinner, Bright Eyes producer and Monsters of Folk bandmate Mike Mogis has been hard at work, mixing Bright Eyes b-sides and 10-inches. However, the two are also collaborating on potential ideas for the next Bright Eyes album—tentatively scheduled to begin recording after the fall Monsters of Folk tour.

The best music news in ages; Bright Eyes’ Digital Ash in a Digital Urn is among the best recordings of the past decade. Come on Mr. Oberst, do it, do it, yes.
