The season one soundtrack for Yo Gabba GabbaLand! will be released on August 9 via BMG; just in time for the first season’s premiere on Apple TV+. Today they have shared The Linda Lindas’ song from the album, “I’m So Happy to Be Little.” Listen to the new track below.

The soundtrack will also include contributions by Ty Segall, mxmtoon, Local Natives, Kurt Vile, Anderson .Paak, Portugal. The Man, Thundercat, Lucius, Betty Who, Twin Shadow, Big Daddy Kane, Claud, Cory Wong and Antwaun Stanley, Dayglow, Miyavi, Paul Williams, Prestyn Smith, Reggie Watts, ROMderful, The Drums, and The Interrupters. Yo Gabba GabbaLand! is a revival of the Emmy-nominated children’s show Yo Gabba Gabba!, which aired on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. from 2007 to 2015.

In a press release, The Linda Lindas said this on their contribution: “We’ve gone from being smaller, younger kids who watched Yo Gabba Gabba! to actually becoming characters in the show, which is so surreal! Singing a fun song about being little is perfect and something that a lot of us can relate to. Even though we’re bigger now, we haven’t grown out of Yo Gabba Gabba!, and neither should you.”

Co-creators and executive producers of Yo Gabba GabbaLand, Scott Schultz and Christian Jacobs added: “We couldn’t be more excited to bring more Gabba to the world! Music has always been the heart and soul of Yo Gabba Gabba!, and Yo Gabba GabbaLand! will be no different. The amazing amount of support and interest from the music community we’ve had all these years later fills us with so much joy—it’s going to be so much fun to pass that energy on to kids, families, and existing Gabba fans. With amazing guest artists like Anderson .Paak, Thundercat and The Linda Lindas, the talent lineup for Yo Gabba GabbaLand! is basically our dream list of collaborators. Hope you’re ready to dancey dance—because this soundtrack is one giant celebration of awesomeness!”

The Linda Lindas recently announced their second full-length release, No Obligation, which will be out on October 11 via Epitaph. The album’s lead single, “All In My Head,” was one of our Songs of the Week.
