Scottish hip-hop trio Young Fathers released a new album, Cocoa Sugar, back in March via Ninja Tune. Now they have shared a new song, “Cocoa Sugar,” which was almost the title track to the album but didn’t make the final tracklist. They have also shared a new David Wrench single mix of album track “Border Girl.” The two songs are being released as an AA-side single. Listen to both tracks below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.

In a press release the band’s Kayus Bankole says “Cocoa Sugar” is “a sweet lullaby for my cocoa sugar - my love. Stay warm, stay safe and goodbye.”

Young Fathers surprised everyone by winning the Mercury Prize with their 2014 debut album, Dead. Previously they shared Cocoa Sugar tracks “In My View” (via a video and it was one of our Songs of the Week),“Lord,” and “Toy” (which was also one of our Songs of the Week). Plus there was a video for “Toy” and the band performed the song on Later with… Jools Holland. Then there was a video for “Holy Ghost.”
