Yuck Cover Fugazi’s “Cashout,” Announce More Tour Dates
Stranger Things Due Out February 26 via Mamé Records

London four-piece Yuck are releasing their third album, Stranger Things, on February 26 via Mamé Records. But today the band has shared a non-album track, a cover of Fugazi’s “Cashout.” The band has also announced some more tour dates. Yuck’s Fugazi cover (followed by the original Fugazi version) and the full list of tour dates are below.
Yuck frontman Max Bloom commented on the cover in a press release: “This is my favorite Fugazi song from their 2001 album The Argument. The whole record is fantastic, but this song in particular stands out for me mainly because of its lyrics and how relevant it still feels more than a decade on. I’m not sure exactly what inspired Fugazi to make this song, but I imagine I share the same anger and frustration as they do.”
Stranger Things is the follow-up to 2013’s Glow & Behold. So far the band has shared two songs from Stranger Things: “Hold Me Closer” and “Hearts in Motion.”
