Remaining Members Continuing With Second Record
Apr 16, 2013
Yuck
Yesterday evening Yuck fans were provided a bit of a shock when the UK indie band announced that frontman Daniel Blumberg would no longer be with the group. In a message posted on the group’s Facebook page, the band explained that Blumberg left to “focus on other things.” Blumberg currently has a solo project called Oupa.
Despite the departure of Blumberg the remaining members have decided to carry on with the band and will soon travel to New York to begin work on their sophomore studio album, the follow-up to their breakthrough self-titled debut from 2011. In the same Facebook message the band promises “new music, new tour dates, and bigger afros will be coming very soon. So get ready. GET. READY.”
