New Zealand indie-pop band Yumi Zouma released their sophomore album, Willowbank, a few weeks back via Cascine. They are about to embark on some West Coast tour dates with label-mate Chad Valley (led by British singer/musician/producer Hugo Manuel) and so the two artists have traded remixes. Chad Valley have remixed Yumi Zouma’s “December” and Yumi Zouma have reworked Chad Valley’s recent single “Up Again.” Listen to both below, followed by the tour dates.

Previously Yumi Zouma shared Willowbank‘s first single, the truly wonderful pop song “December,” which was one of our favorite Songs of the Week, as well as the album opener “Depths (Pt. I)” (the album ends with “Depths (Pt. II)”), which was also one of our Songs of the Week, and “Persephone,” which was again a Song of the Week. Then there was a simple black & white video for “Half Hour” (which also was one of our Songs of the Week). Willowbank was our joint Album of the Week.

Chad Valley’s last album, Entirely New Blue, his sophomore release, came out in 2015.
