Zooey Deschanel is set to star on Broadway in Loretta Lynn-inspired play Coal Miner’s Daughter. (You might remember the 1980 film version.) Broadway. You know, ‘cause having a hit TV show, uber charming band, and an iPhone isn’t enough.
No official dates have been announced, but given New Girl’s production schedule, it’s safe to assume Deschanel’s stint on the Great White Way will happen sometime during production hiatus next summer.
