While Deep Fantasy, White Lung‘s new record, may not be the greatest thing you’ve ever heard, its onslaught of melodic sensibility, lyrical intensity and guitar-led aggression is loud and lasting enough to make your ears stand at attention. Despite the album’s title, this is an album with a firm grip on the general unfairness of reality, particularly for women. White Lung is pissed and we better listen. (www.facebook.com/whitelung)
