CIAO MALZ is the moniker of Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Malila DelaCruz. DelaCruz grew up in Connecticut, stumbling upon an early love of music-making through her father’s old mixtapes and a deluge of teenage GarageBand experiments. After relocating to New York for college, she began collaborating with local indie artists and recording DIY in her Lower East Side studio.
