Super Furry Animals and Neon Neon frontman Gruff Rhys has teamed up with Tony Da Gatorra, and will release a collaborative album titled The Terror of Cosmic Loneliness. It is a limited U.K. release for now, due out there on July 26, with U.S. release plans TBA. Rhys was a huge fan of Gatorra, who is a Brazilian TV and VCR repairman (who still uses VCR’s?), “musical freedom fighter,” and the inventor of his own ‘Gatorra’ instrument (which is described as “part drum machine, part guitar”).
