My Own Desert Island are a new emo and indie rock outfit led by Toldeo-based musician Jacob Pachasa. The band first began as a solo project for Pachasa, who also plays drums in the DIY emo band Equipment. Last year, he released the project’s debut EP, Skyrocket, but since then the band has expanded in size and scope, with Pachasa joined by Jacob Scott on bass, Joy Sitler on guitar, and Steven Warstler on drums.
