Earlier this week, Toronto-based folk singer/songwriter Stan Simon shared his new EP, Narrow Bridge, arriving five years after his 2020 album, Songs From Strange Places. He also teased the record last month with its title track, a meditation on climate collapse, political indifference, and social apathy. Much of the new record is similarly weighty, finding Simon drawing from rootsy folk and Americana traditions to meditate on both shared universal pains and personal loss. More
