Over the years, New Jersey-born indie singer/songwriter Tom Barrett cut his teeth fronting several bands, most recently as part of the shoegaze trio Overlake. Following his time in Overlake, Barrett began releasing a series of solo LPs, which saw him eschewing rock textures for more intimate and understated indie folk arrangements.
