Little Dragon
Little Dragon released a new album, Season High, back in April 2017 via Loma Vista. Last week they shared a brand new song not found on that album, “Sway Daisy.” Now the band has shared another new song, “Best Friends.” It turns out both songs will be on a 12-inch single released on April 20.

Father John Misty
Last week Father John Misty (aka Josh Tillman) shared a new song, “Mr. Tillman” (it was one of our Songs of the Week). The song was shared via a YouTube post that at first appeared to be a basic “Official Audio” video with the song’s title against a red background, but about two minutes in Tillman showed up and started dancing in front of still images of hotel lobbies and bars.

Phoenix
France’s Phoenix released a new album, Ti Amo, back in June 2017 via Glassnote. Now they have stopped by Australia’s Triple J radio station to take part in their Like a Version series where a band does a cover version. Their choice: Whitney’s “No Woman,” taken from the Chicago duo’s 2016 debut album, Light Upon the Lake.

Frankie Cosmos
Frankie Cosmos, the project of Greta Kline, along with her backing band, are releasing a new album, Vessel, on March 30 via Sub Pop, the band’s first for the iconic Seattle label. Previously they shared a stop-motion video for its first single, “Jesse,” and the puppet-tastic video for another song from the album, “Being Alive.”

Denmark’s Iceage have announced a new album, Beyondless, and shared a new song from it, “Pain Killer.” Beyondless is due out May 4 via Matador. It includes “Catch It,” a song they shared a video for a few weeks back.
