Album Art, Title of Arcade Fire’s New Album Potentially Leaked
New Song "Reflektor" Premiering Tonight
Sep 09, 2013 Arcade Fire
Later tonight Arcade Fire will officially premiere “Reflektor,” the first single from the band’s forthcoming new album arriving next month on Oct. 29. Thanks to the wonder of time zones New Zealand’s iTunes store already has the track available to purchase, providing more details on the LP in the process. In addition to “Reflektor” being the title track of the record itself, it seems the new full-length could be a double album. As for the record’s artwork, it imposes Orpheus and Eurydice, a work by famed French sculptor Auguste Rodin, against a starry backdrop.
For something a bit more official, the band has prepared a new 30-second trailer for the album, depicitng various scenes from Haiti. They’ve also shared what appears to be a still from Anton Corbijn upcoming music video for “Reflektor.” Click below to view and watch, and don’t forget to set your clock for 9 p.m. tonight.
