Arcade Fire’s New Album Rumored To Be Titled “Reflektor”
Graffiti Artists Tag Various Cities
Aug 05, 2013 Arcade Fire
Over the past several days unknown graffiti artists have been producing a diamond-shaped image with the word “Reflektor” in it. According to at least two different street artists responsible for the art, the image is part of a campaign for Arcade Fire‘s upcoming fourth album, with the word Reflektor presumably serving as the record’s title.
With an Instagram account called Reflektor compiling images of the graffiti, to a new website TheReflektors.com showcasing a video of the mark being made (which was also apparently played prior to sets at this weekend’s Lollapalooza and Osheaga festivals), the evidence seems pretty strong that Reflektor could be the name of the LP.
The new album, produced by LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy is set for release on Oct. 29.
