Bat For Lashes (aka Natasha Khan) has teamed up with Dominik Scherrer to soundtrack the new BBC/Netflix show Requiem. The first episode premieres in the U.K. on BBC One tonight (it’s Netflix premiere date is TBA). Below is the duo’s theme for the show, “Aigra,” via Pitchfork.
Requiem is described a supernatural thriller and stars Lydia Wilson as a cellist named Matilda who goes to a small Welsh town where a toddler disappeared in 1994 to see how it links to her mother, who has committed suicide. The soundtrack is due out February 9 via Dubois.
Bat For Lashe’s last album, The Bride, came out in 2016 via Parlophone/Warner Bros.
