On March 14 Under the Radar will host the second of three free day parties. Leading up to the event we’re letting you know about each artist playing. Today we’re spotlighting Caveman. In a previous post we gave you the basic party details of the party: The party happens from 12:00-6:00 PM at the Flamingo Cantina at 6th and Red River (515 E. 6th Street, Austin, TX 78701). All events are free and open to the public—no RSVPs or badges are required. Come early for free beer courtesy of Sapporo. SHUREand MailChimp are also sponsoring the event.

Brooklyn-based quintet Caveman may be named and primitives, but their music is anything but. From dark surf vibes to delicate chamber pop filled with soaring vocal harmonies, this is one band that’s already worked its way up the evolutionary scale. Their forthcoming album streets April 2 via Fat Possum. Check out our interview with the band here. You can also revisit a series of songs below. Caveman will play March 14 at 3:15 PM.
