Sub Pop are releasing the soundtrack to the hugely popular Adult Swim animated show Rick and Morty and now they have shared a lyric video for one of its tracks, “Stuttering Light,” a new song by Chad VanGaalen. VanGaalen is also known for his amazing animated creations, but instead the video features animation by Liah Honeycutt intercut with images from the show. Watch it below.

The Rick and Morty Soundtrack is due out September 28 via Sub Pop, with a deluxe box set version coming out on November 23. The soundtrack features music from the show’s composer Ryan Elder, new songs by VanGaalen and Clipping, and pre-exiting tracks from Chaos Chaos, Blonde Redhead, Mazzy Star, and Belly. VanGaalen released his last album, Light Information, in 2017, also via Sub Pop.

We once interviewed Rick and Morty‘s creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland back in 2013 when the show first debuted and you can read that here.
