Damon Albarn and Flea Announce “Rocketjuice and the Moon”
Yup…That Happened.
Oct 28, 2011 Rocketjuice and the Moon
Damon Albarn is a busy man, what with the likes of Good, the Bad & the Queen, Gorillaz, and a running assortment of African musicians. Of course, he’s also found time for the last two years to collaborate with Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea. And now, their collaboration has an official name: Rocketjuice and the Moon.
Yup. Rocketjuice and the Moon.
As Albarn told Irish Times, “Someone in Lagos did the sleeve design and that’s the name he gave it, which suits me because trying to find a name for another band is always tricky.”
No word yet on the release date, but the group—er, Rocketjuice and the Moon—will make their official debut this weekend in London.
