Devon Welsh (ex-Majical Cloudz frontman) has shared his video for his new track “Dreamers” off of his forthcoming album True Love, due out tomorrow (October 11) via his own independent label You Are Accepted, and we are pleased to premiere it. The video features Welsh singing and dancing enthusiastically as grey images of old industrial factories and cities and clouds project behind him. The track is a galvanizing minimal synth anthem that finds Welsh using an almost slam-poetry style vocal delivery atop a looped melodic synth. Check out the video, as well as tour dates and album cover art below.

On the making of the track, Welsh had this to say: “‘Dreamers’ is a song I wrote in 2015, inspired by friends of mine. To me it’s about using art and music as a way to engage with the world and possibly transform suffering into a vision of heaven. I shot the video by myself in a room with a projector.”

True Love follows Welsh’s 2018 debut solo album Dream Songs. Welsh will be performing the album live on Youtube this weekend on both Friday and Sunday. More info available here.
