DIIV frontman Zachary Cole Smith has shared a spirited cover of Sparklehorse’s “Cow.” The original version of the song can be found on Sparklehorse’s strangely titled 1995-released debut album, Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot. Last year DIIV released their equally awkwardly titled second album, Is The Is Are, via Captured Tracks. Check out the cover below.

This is amazing. I really loved the mix and it has not made the originality of the song in a worse situation. I have seen that a song getting real bad mixes, but this one is really great to hear.
