Flight of the Conchords Announce End of TV Show

It’s No Longer Business Time

Rather than waiting until the distant future, when robots rule the world, New Zealand comedy duo Flight of the Conchords have announced on their website that business time is over and there will be no third season of their acclaimed Emmy-nominated HBO show. Maybe the inner city pressure finally got to them.

A statement was posted on Flights of the Conchords’ official website that was attributed to duo Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, along with the show’s co-creator/director James Bobin. The full statement read: “We’ve noticed the less we say about the future of the show, the more people want to talk about it, so in an effort to reverse this trend we are today announcing that we won’t be returning for a 3rd season. We’re very proud of the two seasons we made and we like the way the show ended. We’d like to thank everyone who helped make the show and also everyone who watched it. While the characters Bret and Jemaine will no longer be around, the real Bret and Jemaine will continue to exist.”

It’s unclear whether or not Flight of the Conchords will continue to release albums (so far they’ve released two albums on Sub Pop, including this year’s I Told You I Was Freaky) or what the future (distant or otherwise) holds for the duo.

Too bad! One had to learn many interesting things from this TV show. But with a little creativity, one can easily start a business. Many wonders which are the exact steps how to become a business owner and a professional company can advise them about this topic. Don’t forget that the business idea is yours and it should be attractive because your business should be interesting for your customers to make them come to you.
