Goldfrapp
Goldfrapp have announced the premiere of a “unique film event” that will take place across select theaters in the UK, Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand on March 4. The special screening will begin director Lisa Gunning’s Tales of Us, a 30-minute film compiling five individual stories inspired the band’s new album: “Stranger,” “Laurel,” “Jo,” “Drew,” and “Annabel.” With only “Drew” and “Annabel” previously available, Tales of Us will be seen as it was intended. After the premiere of the film audiences will be transitioned into a live, 50-minute theatrical performance by Goldfrapp at London’s Air Studios.
“We’re very excited to present a unique event, the Tales Of Us film alongside an intimate live performance, to our fans across the world,” says Says Alison Goldfrapp in a press release. “We’ve loved touring the Tales Of Us album and can’t wait to bring our live show to local cinemas.” Click here to find where the film will be screening near you.
