Lovers of shoegaze and lowercase, green star have announced their debut EP, bleeding swirls, due for release on 2nd May via GSR Records. The band has also shared new single and video “‘four-o-five.”
Of the new single, green star share: “‘Four-o-five’ is flooded with energy revelatory imagery and raucous guitars, and there is a noisy power struggle between facing your wrongdoings and celebrating your emergent freedom.”
The EP will feature the band’s 2024 debut single “blades of steel” and follow-up”‘replication,” introducing listeners to the band’s sonic sensibilities. Pairing ethereal vocals with surging guitar swells, the tracks blend emotion with distorted soundscapes.

Comprised of Lilah Bobak (Los Angeles), Pedro Soler (Mallorca), and Alberto De Torre (Madrid), the band formed in London through the city’s warehouse scene, drawing influence from Sonic Youth, Swirlies, and Yo La Tengo.
They also have performances scheduled at Brighton’s The Great Escape Festival, Leeds’ Gold Sounds, and Manchester’s Mood Swings in May.
