Hamilton Leithauser and Rostam Announce Tour Dates
I Had a Dream That You Were Mine Out Now via Glassnote
Oct 17, 2016 Hamilton Leithauser
Hamilton Leithauser of The Walkmen and Rostam Batmanglij (formerly of Vampire Weekend) have teamed up and released a collaborative album, I Had a Dream That You Were Mine, on last month via Glassnote. Previously they had shared “A 1000 Times,” “In a Black Out,” and “When the Truth Is…” Now they have announced some tour dates for 2017. They are more Leithauser dates (the album did begin life as his solo album), but Rostam will, as a press release states, “join on select dates to be announced.” Leithauser will be backed by Stephen Patterson on drums and Gregory Roberts on bass. The dates are below, followed by “In a Black Out.”
Batmanglij recently announced that he had left Vampire Weekend and would be releasing music under his first name and shared a couple of solo songs. The Walkmen have been on hiatus for a while now and Leithauser has also released solo work.
