Harvey Danger Announces Farewell Tour
August Tour to Conclude in Seattle
Jul 17, 2009 Harvey Danger
Harvey Danger is probably recognized by most as the band that brought you “Flagpole Sitta” in the late ‘90s. Of course, they also produced three albums and performed alongside Death Cab For Cutie, Jon Brion, They Might Be Giants, Nada Surf, and many more. The band’s imminent breakup has already been announced, but today, the band posted a statement on their website announcing a farewell tour is set for August. Limited to six dates—primarily on the west coast—the final two shows will take place in their hometown of Seattle.
Tour dates:
8/7 Harper’s Ferry - Boston, MA
8/8 The Bell House - Brooklyn, NY
8/15 Schuba’s - Chicago, IL
8/22 Largo - Los Angeles, CA
8/28 Vera Project - Seattle, WA
8/29 The Crocodile - Seattle, WA
A full statement from the band on their breakup is available on the band’s website.

bummer. although the band status HAD pretty much been set on dwindle for the last 8 years.
still a bummer. theirs and death cab’s positions in the world of music have twilight zone twirled between ‘98 and ‘09.
