Spanish all-female quartet Hinds have announced a new album, I Don’t Run, their sophomore album, and shared a video for its first single, “New For You.” Lucía Pardo directed the fun video for “New For You,” which features the band engaged in a game of football (or soccer if you must). Watch it below, followed by the album’s tracklist and cover art. The band has also announced some tour dates, which are below too.
Hinds released their debut album, Leave Me Alone, back in January 2016 via Mom + Pop. Hinds co-produced I Don’t Run with Gordon Raphael (The Strokes, Regina Spektor), and it was engineered by Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, Perfume Genius, The War On Drugs, John Legend). A press release says that the band weren’t satisfied with just writing songs about being young and carefree. “On this album the struggles are clear. We want to be brave,” says guitarist and vocalist Ana Perrote.
“We loved making this album,” adds Perrote. “We knew what we wanted and we have what we wanted. This is a new start for us and we’re fucking ready.”
