Manchester’s HOT MILK has just released their latest single, “Where Does The Light Get In,” and announced the “Rehabilitate Your Mind” tour set for this autumn. The band will hit the road for four headlining shows, with Unpeople as the supporting act, alongside their dates with Palaye Royale.

The tour kicks off on October 31st at Liverpool’s Arts Club, followed by stops in Newcastle, Hull, and Bournemouth: “Where Does The Light Get,” written by Hannah “Han” Mee and Jim Shaw and produced in their home studio, starts with Shaw on piano, setting the stage for what he describes as “a cry out for a change in circumstances”—an expression of the helplessness felt when watching a loved one in pain. The song’s haunting chorus features vocals from the choir Espera, and Mee adds that the song emerged from a place of deep personal torment. “Matters of the heart are rarely touched by our band, but after the last year, I couldn’t not write this song. It was a necessity,” she shared.
