British punks IDLES are releasing a new album, Joy as an Act of Resistance, on August 31 via Partisan. Now they have shared a video for another new song from the album, “Great.” A press release describes the song as “a pro-immigration black comedy…as well as a scathing confrontation of the Brexit/Trump era.” Theo Watkins directed the video. Watch it below, followed by the band’s upcoming U.S. tour dates.
Singer Joe Talbot had this to say about the song in a press release: “Let us go forward with open minds and open hearts into that fuck off fire we’ve started. No blame, no hate. Just love.”
