Jahrel JP and the Future Releases Debut Single
"Step Inside" is out now on all major streaming and digital formats

Hotly-tipped Nottingham three-piece Jahrel JP and the Future released their debut single on Friday (9th January). Entitled “Step Inside”, which anyone that’s seen them in the flesh will recognise as the opener to the band’s current live set.. Recorded at The Grove in Nottingham, “Step Inside” is an incisive fusion of punk, ska and classic blues rock that serves as a powerful introduction to the band’s wares. It’s also the first track to be lifted from their forthcoming EP - also called Step Inside - which is due to come out on Good Friday (3rd April), with a launch show planned for the same weekend on Easter Sunday (5th - venue to be confirmed).
In the meantime, the trio - Jahrel JP (vocals, bass), Jehu (guitars) and Bobbi (drums) - can be seen at Nottingham’s Beat The Streets festival later this month (Sunday 25th January) alongside the likes of Bloodworm, Marvin’s Revenge, Bored Marsh and White Town.
“Step Inside” is available now on all digital and streaming services.
