Jeff Tweedy Unveils New Material
New Track Performed on Canadian TV Show
Apr 11, 2011 Wilco
It’s just one of those days where fresh, never-before-performed music abound: Yesterday on Canadian television show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy graced the audience with not only an interview, but a performance of “Open Your Mind,” a lovely new track that Tweedy played acoustic. The band is reportedly working on a new album and it is uncertain whether “Open Your Mind” is a track from their upcoming album. But wherever this gentle, nostalgic folk track ends up, it’s worth a listen. Check out Tweedy’s performance of “Open Your Mind” here.
