
Jenny Hval Has Been Nominated For the Nordic Music Prize
Winner Announced March 2 in Oslo, Norway

Jenny Hval’s Blood Bitch has been nominated for The Phonofile Nordic Music Prize, which honors the best album of the year recorded by an artist from Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, or Denmark. Previous winners have included First Aid Kit, The Knife, and Mirel Wagner.
Other nominees for the seventh annual award include CTM (Denmark), Bisse (Denmark), Værket (Denmark), Jóhann Jóhannsson (Iceland), Skúli Sverrison, Hilmar Jensson, Arve Henriksen (Iceland), Oranssi Pazuzu (Finland), The Hearing (Finland), Mikko Joensuu (Finland), Nosizwe (Norway), Kornél Kovács (Sweden), and Cherrie (Sweden). The awards ceremony goes down March 2 in Oslo, Norway during the by:Larm Festival.
