​Georgia and Tennessee-based artist Jerry Holiday (né Jeremiah Lloyd Harmon, under which he previously released music) has shared “Easy on My Mind,” a new single released independently on September 18, 2024. Recorded using only his phone outside his RV home in Georgia, the self-produced track is a sweet, loping love song to his partner. Holiday makes use of nostalgic, familiar country/roots chord progressions and melodies, which are made fresh with his gorgeous, rangy tenor.

On an Instagram post about the release, Holiday shared, “This song means so much to me, not just because of how sentimental it is to me and my partner. It also represents a broader journey back to my southern roots, a reclamation of the broken pieces I left behind, and most importantly, a genuine expression of joy in my art, which is rare.”

The song comes on the heels of his equally affecting track “My Love Won’t Be In Memphis” and ahead of a series of upcoming singles, the next of which will be out November 13, 2024.
