Jim James Sings at Tree Lighting Ceremony
Have Yourself an Indie Rock Christmas
Dec 10, 2010 Photography by Crackerfarm
In a move that’s sure to confuse your mother (who is the bearded man?) and delight indie rock fans across the land, Jim James of My Morning Jacket performed “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” at yesterday’s tree lighting ceremony in Washington D.C. Joining him? B.B. King, Sara Bareilles, Maroon 5, and a 10-year-old singer from America’s Got Talent. Proof positive Motley Crew isn’t the only motley crew.
Watch the ceremony in all its glory here. Or scroll about a third of the way through for your MMJ fix.
