Amber Arcades, the project of Dutch musician Annelotte de Graaf, released her fantastic debut album, Fading Lines, last June via Heavenly. It made our Top 100 Albums of 2016 list. Now she has shared a propulsive brand new song, “It Changes.” A press release promises that a new EP will be announced soon. In the meantime listen to “It Changes” below via Gorilla vs. Bear (who premiered it).
De Graaf commented on the track in the press release: “Everything changes, all the time. You think that when starting something new you can kinda tell which way it will go, but you never do. I always try to aim for constancy and stability but things always get messier than I foresaw. And hey, maybe that’s actually what makes it worthwhile.”
