On July 16, Verve Records will release a new installment of its ongoing Verve Remixed series. The new compilation, titled Verve Remixed: The First Ladies, collects remixes of female-fronted jazz classics by some of the industry’s established DJs and producers. Featuring contributions by Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, and Pontus Winnberg of Miike Snow, Toro y Moi has included his own reworking of Billie Holiday’s classic “My Man.” Click below to listen to the rendition.
