On Dec. 10 rapper Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino, will release his brand new sophomore album Because the Internet. In a bit of irony, the included track “Sweatpants” recently leaked online early this morning. While Glover himself expressed some disapproval over the matter, tweeting, “fuck this. im trying to create one of the more imaginative rollouts, and other people’s lust for money and impatience is ruining it. to be clear, im not talking about my fans, or blogs, or anyone who post my music after leaks. i want my music out. but it could’ve been better” the leak almost feels appropriate to Glover’s thematic title.
