Leslie Feist is releasing a new album, Pleasure, on April 28 via Interscope. Yesterday afternoon and evening she posted a bunch of strange teaser videos to her social media feeds, each a moment from a different film, most seemingly European movies, and each ending with a brief snippet of a new Feist song. It was of course all building up to Feist sharing said new song, the album’s first single, its opening track and title track, “Pleasure,” which itself is a slow build to an explosive chorus. Listen below.
It’s been six long years since Feist’s last album, 2011’s Metals. Feist co-produced the album with Mocky and Renaud Latang. Feist is also expected to be singing on the new Broken Social Scene album, due out sometime this year.
