On Sept. 24 former Dum Dum Girls and Vivian Girls member Frankie Rose will release Herein Wild, the follow-up to her 2012 solo debut Interstellar.
After sharing the included track “Sorrow,” Rose has offered up yet another piece of the LP with “Street of Dreams,” a cover originally featured on The Damned’s 1985 album Phantasmagoria. In an interview with NY Times Style Magazine Rose says she was first introduced to the song through her boyfriend and immediately felt its chorus was “begging for a lady to sing it.” Click below to listen to Rose’s take.
