Listen: Lana Del Rey – “Ultraviolence”
Ultraviolence is out June 13 on Interscope
Jun 05, 2014
Lana Del Rey
We’ve already heard Lana De Rey perform the title track of her forthcoming album Ultraviolence in concert. For those curious to hear how it played out in the studio, the official cut is at the bottom of the page. She samples the 1962 Crystals hit “He Hit Me (And It Felt Like a Kiss),” and made it even more creepy (if that’s even possible). There’s also a lot of sweeping orchestras and sung/moaned vocals—because otherwise it wouldn’t be a Lana Del Rey joint. Go ahead, take it for a spin. Ultraviolence streets June 13 on Interscope.
