L.A. based pop band Music Go Music have released a new track from their upcoming album, Impressions. You can listen to “Nite After Nite” below.

In addition to their latest LP, Music Go Music have apparently been quite busy. Their list of current projects includes a “historical sci-fi musical” called ‘Active Savage: Rise of Menergy.’ It’s still in the early stages of production, but it involves a Halloween parade time travelling to Ancient Egypt and overthrowing the Pharoah.

The band claims that they were also commissioned to compose the theme song to a German sitcom, and according to their press release were duped into working on a non-existent Elliot Gould film by someone posing as the late actor’s son. They’ve shared some of their work on Soundcloud, and though the details of this ill-fated project are kind of murky, the band has stated that they became increasingly concerned with the imposter’s erratic behavior, which culminated in a “disquieting Snapchat session,” that concluded their correspondence.

Impressions is out August 19th.
