She & Him
Announcing the release of a standards album earlier earlier this August, M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel, a.k.a. She & Him, have shared another selection from the LP’s 13 tracks, a cover of Dusty Springfield’s “Stay Awhile.” Ward and Deschanel have also announced the LP’s release date as Dec. 2. It will of course be distributed on their new label home, Columbia. While the duo have yet to share an official tracklist for the record, a cover of Carole King and Gerry Goffin’s “Oh No Not My Baby” was previously included as part of teaser for the album this summer. “Stay Awhile” can be heard on the band’s website by manipulating a radio widget to the 1202 AM station.
