Recently announcing the release of their sophomore album Highlights, Brooklyn duo Tanlines have shared a brand new track from the record titled, “Invisible Ways.” Publishing an account of their recording process on Medium, the pair reveal how they made the new LP in the cramped childhood home of singer/guitarist Eric Emm in Pittsburgh, because the “one thing we had agreed on early for this album was that we wanted to find ways to work outside of the various home studios in New York [...] and preferably NOT on a midi keyboard in front of a computer screen.”
