Listen: Willis Earl Beal – “Survive”
Nocturnes Out August 28 via Tender Loving Empire

Willis Earl Beal
Willis Earl Beal announced back in May that he will release a brand new album titled Noctunes on August 28 via Tender Loving Empire. The follow-up to last year’s Experiments in Time, the new record is deliberately minimal. Back in May he shared the track “Flying So Low.” Now he has shared “Survive,” another slow burn of a track with dark lyrics (“If you want to survive, because they’ll eat you alive,” Beal sings in the chorus, later adding: “They’ll tell you to get off the stage, but you can’t hear the gong.”). Check it out below, followed by Beal’s tour dates, and also click here to revisit our extensive and revealing interview with Beal from last year.

9/11 San Francisco, CA @ Swedish American Hall
9/12 Los Angeles, CA @ Bootleg
9/13 San Diego, CA @ Casbah
