LNZNDRF
LNZNDRF is a new group featuring Beirut’s Ben Lanz as well as The National’s Scott and Bryan Devendorf. They recently released their eight-song, self-titled debut album, which was recorded over two and a half days in a Cincinnati church and produced by Justin Newton. You can watch a video for their song “Kind Things” below. In addition, 4AD & LNZNDRF are asking fans via a Blend contest to remix “King Things.” The contest runs until July 8th.
Ben Lanz had the following to say: “Getting to coexist, be it only in our own minds with our influences is what is centrally joyful about music making. It’s the dopamine, it’s the ascension, it’s our conversation with the spiritual world and each other.“
